Hello! How has this summer been for you so far? I always think it feels like it’s always raining and cool here…but it’s just been confirmed that July was the coldest one in 20 years…so I wasn’t just imagining it. This week we’re outdoors everyday at a summer program to learn about biodiversity-but with a 90% chance of rain on Wednesday…seed bombing could prove to be a washout! We’ll see what happens, so far we’ve been lucky with dry weather for the class times. But just in case the weather turns more seasonable this month, I’m planning on lots of fun and frugal free summer activities!
If you missed last week’s round-up, I featured 8 ways to get organised for the new homeschool year. Have a look through and be inspired!

We love to go foraging with our children. Tree Valley Academy does as well and has some great tips to get your family started.
Deep Roots At Home also has foraging in mind…instead of venturing out to the country, don’t forget to forage in your own garden! Gather up your lettuce seeds for next year’s veggie patch and save some money!

Outdoor fun doesn’t have to stop when the sun goes down, as Roads To Everywhere proves with some fun and educational backyard astronomy.
