Summer is a great time to gather around with friends and family. Sometimes it’s spur-or-the-moment, and other times more elaborate plans are made. I love all of the summer desserts that are served at gatherings. They’re so colourful, cool, refreshing, and fruity. Kids love ice cream and cookies, adults love fruit, and everyone loves a good s’more! This week I’m featuring 55+ summer desserts for get-togethers. I’m sure you’ll find a few in this collection to serve at your next lunch.
If you’re planning a get-together this summer and you’re looking for ideas to keep the kids busy, Learn With Play: 150+ Activities For Year-Round Fun and Learning is the perfect book for you!

Delicious Summer Desserts
Teaching Mama has whipped up some mini lemon cream pies with the kids to go with their fun in the sun summer activities.
I’m a big fan of s’mores, and these coconut almond s’mores by Life Over C’s look fantastic.
And moving on to homemade s’more ice cream by Learning 2 Walk. I want to try this recipe!
Now here’s an ice cream flavour I haven’t tried yet! Medy’s Avocado Ice Cream by Deep Roots At Home.
Keeping with the ice cream theme (one can never have too much, in my opinion!) Spoons of Grace have made some 4th of July Ice Cream Sandwiches – but of course you don’t have to restrict yourself to enjoying them on just one day of the year!
One Little Project has been busy compiling over 50 raspberry recipes. We have some flowers on our raspberry bushes at the moment, and I’m dreaming up ways to enjoy them soon.
Now it’s your turn to share your favourite ideas!
