Spring is definitely here, and a friend has even spotted a bunny out in the fields! I wonder if it was the Easter bunny preparing for his rounds? We haven’t yet started on any Easter crafts ourselves, yet. I’m sad to say we haven’t decorated Easter eggs (except our Washi-paper egg) since we were back home in Canada three years ago! This year we will be doing eggs, and I’ve found some fun Easter egg ideas in last week’s Mom’s Library to get us going!
What is your favourite way to colour Easter eggs? Or your favourite Easter egg activity? Please let me know in the comments below.
If you missed last week’s round-up, I featured Birds and Bees. Have a look through and be inspired! This resource for Moms is packed full of parenting tips, activities for children, crafts, recipes and more! With over 100 participants each week, you’re sure to find something useful. It will become your favourite Mom Resource!

7 Easter Egg Ideas on Mom’s Library #133
These are the best eggs I’ve seen this year! I’ve been thinking about what we can use to dye eggs, and Mosswood Connections is using homemade natural dyes and embellishing with leaf prints. Fantastic!
I love the effect of these marbled Easter eggs by The Practical Mom.
The Practical Mom also show us how to do some potato stamping for Easter.
Mom Inspired Life has gone creative with a paint-resist egg hunt!
Sunny Day Family has made some Easter eggs for those who are a little young yet to get hands-on with the real thing. Beautiful designs!
Mini Monets and Mommies have fashioned up some cute butterflies using plastic eggs. Very cute!
Mom Inspired Life is making lovely Easter eggs by matching up letters. What a great learning idea!
