Our weather here has turned and we’re back to rain, rain, rain! But we’re not worried since we’ve found so many ideas to keep the kids occupied and having fun with all of the fabulous ideas that have been linked up to Mom’s Library over the past few weeks. Usually we don’t let a little rain spoil our fun, but there have been some torrential downpours such that outdoor events have been cancelled. When we have had our plans to attend changed at the last minute, we didn’t want to sit around and mope and get on each other’s nerves. Keeping the kids entertained will be even easier in the future once we put together a few of the busy bags and paper bag crafts I found linked up last week! If you missed last week’s round-up, I featured Travel Games for Kids have a look through and be inspired! This resource for Moms is packed full of parenting tips, activities for children, crafts, recipes and more!
Bags of Fun
A Little Pinch of Perfect has made these adorable paper bag bugs. These would be fun to make at a party! A Life in Balance shares 18 different busy bag ideas to keep your young children busy while helping older children with school work. Of course, busy bags are great to keep any child occupied at any time! Keep a couple stashed away for a rainy afternoon or when Mom isn’t feeling well.
And now that you’re surrounded by bags, if you’re like some people (who shall remain nameless to protect their identities), and you have trouble finding your way out of a paper bag, I thought this practical life skills task of putting together a flashlight might come in handy!

It’s an important skill to have, and there’s no danger to getting it wrong with a flashlight. And it helps satisfy the curiosity of what’s inside that mysterious thing that creates light! I hope to see you again soon 😉
