Whew! What incredible ideas shared over the month-long summer link up in June! There were over 200 ideas shared, so there’s no excuse to be bored this summer; just hop on over for great inspiration. We had a little break last week after all of the excitement and now we’re refreshed and ready to go with more fantastic ideas being linked up again this week and every week over the summer. Whether you are heading abroad, camping across the country, or having a staycation in your own home, there are plenty of opportunities to make memories with your children.
We’re looking forward to a beach visit next weekend if the weather is cooperative. With these creative beach crafts we’ll be searching for shells, sand, and rocks to bring home with us to relive our beach memories on rainy days.
Welcome To Mom’s Library! This resource for Moms is packed full of parenting tips, activities for children, crafts, recipes and more! With over 100 participants each week, you’re sure to find something useful.
Welcome to Beach Crafts
Michelle from Molly Moo has done a guest post for Kids Activities Blog and shows us how to create beautiful sea shell necklaces.
Fun A Day tells us her secret for colouring sea shells in such vibrant colours! Combining this technique with the sea shell necklace above would mean endless summer creations!
You never know what you will find at a yard sale! I especially like the memory game using gems and sea shells by dabbling momma.
Dabbling momma has a second item up this week with these pretty princess rocks. My children will love going down to the shore to choose some smooth rocks to glitter up.
Busy Kids Happy Mom lets us know how she colours sand as well the secret to keep your sand art in place!
Will you be making a trip to the beach this summer? Even if you’re too far for a trip this year, you can still create memories by searching for bargains and making your own beach art in the back garden this summer!

Pinned! Very helpful. I think “older” children could even hunt down which ideas they might like to try. Kids would like these activities so MUCH!
