How are you doing this evening (or middle-of-the-night for those of us across the Pond)? We’ve been told to expect a ‘weather bomb’ overnight and into Wednesday so we may well be cancelling plans and staying home where it’s warm, dry, and not in the 80mph gales! If you’re spending more time indoors, why not make this time fun for everyone? Young children love to count, and Christmas provides lots of opportunity to do this! I’ve rounded up a few Christmas Counting activities from last week’s resources.
If you missed last week’s round-up, I featured Christmas Playdough. Have a look through and be inspired! This resource for Moms is packed full of parenting tips, activities for children, crafts, recipes and more!
Christmas Counting
3 Dinosaurs has a collection of 5 Christmas countdown printables. Which one will you choose? Of course, these don’t only have to be used to count down to Christmas, you could turn them into addition or subtraction problems, or just have fun!
Dabbling Momma has a simple, frugal, fun way for children to learn sequencing.
A Little Pinch of Perfect has a fun guessing and counting game to go along with my favourite Christmas story, How The Grinch Stole Christmas!
3 Boys and a Dog has an Elf on The Shelf counting printable.

Gift of Curiosity has a huge printable pack available that encompasses a wide range of fine motor and math skills.
