December Degustabox Favourites:
Each month we feature our top picks in the box. Of course, these choices are based on our own tastes, and I’d love to hear what your favourites are, just pop them down in the comments at the end of this post.

When I arrived in the UK 14 years ago, I wasn’t familiar with Robinson’s, but I am very well acquainted with them now. I’m not a big fan of water so I tend to add just a touch of Robinson’s to it when I’m feeling dehydrated and need to drink more. Peach and Summer Fruits are my go-to flavours…but I’m going to be checking out our local shops for these new Robinson’s Fruit Creations varieties! Peach and Raspberry – yum!
If you like decadent chocolate, then you will like Willies Cacao Black Pearls, we received the Sea Salt Caramel variety; they’re wrapped up in gold which, when unravelled, reveal a little ball of dark chocolate. Bite into it and you’ll find molten salted caramel. They’re full of flavour and the dark chocolate is very rich. They’re beautiful to look at and I will be using some of these as extra adornment when I’m wrapping Christmas gifts; who wouldn’t want a beautiful chocolate on the front of their package next to their name tag?
I’m also very much digging the Planters packets! The peanuts, brazil nuts, walnuts, and chocolate-covered honeycomb are a great combination! These would be perfect for tossing in the backpack for times when you’re out longer than expected and need a little pick-me-up.
The Kids’ Favourites
Tristan’s favourite items this month were the Coldpress orange juice and the Candy Kittens sweets. The orange juice was rich in flavour and full of pulp/juicy bits. As he has another cold, the orange juice gave him a boost of vitamin C and helped top up his fluids. The sweets…well…they were a treat for him!
Kallista’s favourite items were also the Candy Kittens sweets, but she also liked the Sleep Well milk. It’s in a small carton for a serving and contains Jersey milk, honey, vanilla, and valerian root. Kallista didn’t like it cold, but once it was warmed up, she really loved it and wants to have some on Christmas Eve to help her sleep for Santa’s visit!
Also Great Choices
The Popchips Galactic Puffs are a fun snack for Star Wars fans! Cute little shapes with a powerful force of sour cream and onion flavour.
Ryvita Lightly Salted Rye Cakes; the children weren’t big fans of last month’s multigrain variety, but they much preferred these more plain cakes. You’ll almost always find some type of Ryvita product in our cupboards and we’ve really been enjoying their inclusion into our Degustaboxes.
Taking The Pea, smoked ham flavour; Tristan and Phil both really like these light, crispy peas coated in flavour.
We haven’t yet tried the Sam Miguel or the Mary Berry’s Lemon and Mustard Seed Vinaigrette, but we aim to. Kallista loves cooking and is a fan of Mary Berry so she’s looking forward to trying it on a lunchtime salad next week.
