I hope the weather has been holding up for you this August. It’s been much rainier this past week. I suppose it’s to be expected on the Emerald Isle, however; they say that’s how the hills stay so green. Our new lawn is growing nicely, and by this time next year I hope we’ll have a couple of veggies in the patch as well. But until then, I’ve found some cute decorative garden ideas shared on last week’s Mom’s Library.

To see all of the great ideas submitted, be sure to check out last week’s Mom’s Library where I featured Ocean Beach Fun.
Decorative gardens
An Idea on Tuesday has a cute little fairy garden that would look great in any season.
School Time Snippets has taken out the glue gun to glam up her garden!
Beth from Education.com has become a Quirky Momma this week and guest posted at Kids Activities Blog with these great hanging gardens. I know they’d thrive in our damp climate without much care.
And if your strawberries have been successful in your garden this year, decorate your dinner table with strawberry crisp from True Blue Baking!

Those are cute ideas–I do have a vegetable garden and a few flowers, but if I get those in the ground and 25-50% weed free, I’m doing good!

My kids both love hands on stuff. My 3 yr old was matching colored clothespins to a colorwheel this morning. π Thanks for the chance to win the abc mouse subscription!
Crystal McClean says
Good luck with your entry! I don’t think clothespins will ever go out of style! Keep having fun!

I have had such a crazy week that I haven’t had time to post anything so I’m not linking anything up today, but I thought I’d come say hi anyway! π And, of course, enter the giveaway! I’ve been trying to win an ABC Mouse membership for a while now. Maybe this is my time! My kids favorite learning activity is a toss-up between reading and singing. Combining the two is a sure winner! Have a great week!
Crystal McClean says
Hello to you! Ah, thanks for dropping in this week, Tina π I wish you luck in the giveaway, and a more restful week. I’m up to my eyeballs as well and not sure where to start! Have a great weekend!
