I know that I’m not alone in blogging, and that many homeschool moms blog either as a hobby or as a business, amongst other things. One thing that we would all like it to have is more email subscribers, and one great way to increase your followers is to create great opt-in printables. Monique (who designed my website), has just created two Drool-Worthy courses (one of them is free), about how to do just this, and I’ve had the pleasure of having a sneak peak into the course and I’m sharing my insights with you today!

Drool-Worthy Email Opt-Ins Course
After you’ve completed the printable workshop, you’ll want to keep learning and applying your new knowledge, so be sure to watch to the end for special information on how to register for the Drool-Worthy Email Opt-Ins course. In this course Monique continues guiding you on the whole process from start to finish on how to brainstorm what your readers are looking for and how you can help them, then learn to create beautiful printables, as well as how to store them. You’ll learn how to create mock-ups to use as graphics on your blog (this is something I have never been very good at, but now know how to do), and then how to go further by promoting your printables.
Follow along with the videos (each averaging about 10 minutes – perfect for watching while sitting with a cup of tea while the kids play or snack) and then practice using the templates generously provided. Be sure to print off the workbook in Module 2 so you can keep track of your ideas and how to implement them!
Monique shares her secrets of where she, as a designer, finds graphics and fonts that are available for commercial use, as well as how to pair them along with colour schemes.
Now that you can create printables…what happens next? This course doesn’t stop there, Monique then walks you through how to save your printables, make them editable, create mock-ups for social media sharing, and also how and where to store your items, and also how to share them over several email services.
Now you need to promote your printables; how should you do that? You’ll learn the ins and outs about a couple of popular email service providers, as well as how to use them to get your printables into the hands of your readers, and let’s not forget about housing them on your blog, that’s covered too! You’ll learn how to create a password protected library where your readers can access your freebies after they have signed up for your informative emails.
Monique also shares some of her top go-to sites for submitting freebies so you can get up and running without having to start from scratch; she’s put all the leg-work into the course so you don’t have to scour the internet searching for all the information from various sources, which means this course will save you time, which is important for us moms!
