Math. It’s been on my brain a lot lately! The children are loving their math lessons, though they are reaching new concepts and sometimes that can be a bit frustrating. But the thing about math is that there’s always more to learn, and many ways that it can be learned. You don’t just have to use a textbook or online program. This week I’m featuring some very fun-looking early math games for kids….and for the Moms, a budget planner so that we can set a good example!
If you missed last week’s round-up, I featured 7 Weather Activities. Have a look through and be inspired! This resource for Moms is packed full of parenting tips, activities for children, crafts, recipes and more!
To see previous Mom’s Library round-ups, check out my Mom’s Library page. Sign up for emails to Castle View Academy and you’ll have all of this info plus much more direct to your in-box.
Early Math Games
Modern Preschool has made a fun, free printable with a beautiful spring theme to help children understand the correspondence of numbers from 1 – 10.
Tree Valley Academy has a 5-page printable with lots of ways to use my favourite number…13!
Brain Power Boy has some fun Lego math games that I’m sure any kid with a love of Lego would enjoy.
When the kids are ready to learn about skip-counting, have them skip around the room using these cute frog floor numbers by 3 Dinosaurs.
Momma Goes Frugal has a cheerful and free budget planner for her subscribers. Go on – let your children see you working with numbers (hopefully with a smile on your face). Budgeting is exactly how I’ve spent most of today.

I love the collections of great ideas each week. One of my favourite things each week is going through and trying to decide what to feature – it can be a big decision!
