Hello, hello! I hope you are doing well this week. We’ve been enjoying spending some time with my parents who are over on a visit, so please forgive me if I miss a Mom’s Library in the next couple of weeks, it just means we’ve been having a good time. As I type this up, everyone is out to the shops. Do you still shop in person, or do more via the internet these days? There have been many changes, and this week, we’re taking a look back with history for kids.
If you missed last week’s round-up, I featured Fun From The Movies. Have a look through and be inspired! This resource for Moms is packed full of parenting tips, activities for children, crafts, recipes and more!
To see previous Mom’s Library round-ups, check out my Mom’s Library page. Sign up for emails to Castle View Academy and you’ll have all of this info plus much more direct to your in-box.
History for Kids
With currently living in Northern Ireland, these Titanic History Cards by Tina’s Dynamic Homeschool Plus caught my eye! It’s only been in the past couple of years that Belfast has celebrated the building of the Titanic. Of course, she was sea-worthy when she left Belfast, but the dark legacy wasn’t one that Belfast wanted to celebrate, but the memory of the Titanic lives on.
Hands-on activities are a great way for children to learn! Planet Smarty Pants shares their field trip and learning about the Ohlone Tribe near San Franscisco Bay.
Tina’s Dynamic Homeschool Plus has been busy! She’s also shared her Unrivaled Guide to Civil War Activities For Kids.
