I just loved springtime in Japan, it’s so beautiful and cherry blossom season only lasts a few days so it’s extra-special. The delicate beauty of the petals after a cold, wet, winter makes everything seem possible.
Today I was reminded even more about this as Tristan’s first friend (going back as far as the special care baby unit) today has achieved his own personal best of walking with a frame for 500 metres in the final half-kilometre of a month-long running fundraiser so that he can continue the therapy that has allowed him to come so far in only a year and a half (and only last week did he achieve 150 metres)!
This young man at the grand age of 8 is an inspiration to us, and so today I dedicate this quote to him, as he’s surely achieving his dreams, one step at a time, literally. If you’d like to learn more about his accomplishments and how you an help him, click here.

“If a man wants his dreams to come true, he must wake them up.” Words to remember. What are your dreams, and how are you working your way towards them?
