Here’s a little add-on from our Shamrock wall hanging. If you haven’t already made it, you can see our directions for it here.
For a little extra fun, take your shamrock wall hanging down from it’s place of honour and place it on the table or floor.
Find some tiny little pom-poms; the smaller the better for those fine motor skills to develop!
Take turns tossing the pom-poms and trying to have them land inside the leaves of the shamrock.
The children can also review their colours by stating which colour of pom pom they will throw. For older children you can have them write a number in each of the shapes and they can keep track of their score.
