Earth Day was last week, but you don’t need to do your bit only for one day. Mother Earth gives to us everyday, so let’s all try to do our part every day to keep our world as healthy and happy as we can. One way my children love to do this is to reuse and recycle as much as they can. They always see the potential in things that are lined up for the recycling bins. “Don’t throw that away! We can use it for…..” is a phrase commonly heard in our home. This week I’m featuring four spring upcycling ideas on Mom’s Library. Don’t forget to check out last week’s Mom’s Library where I featured painting without brushes.
Check out last week’s Mom’s Library where I featured Easter Chick Crafts!
Spring Upcycling:
Crafty Moms Share is re-using her strawberry containers to plant some spring seeds. It’s as if they were made for this use!
Sparkling Buds has created a wreath using a milk jug for earth day, but there’s no reason you can make a milk jug wreath
anyday!
Crafty Journal shares a tutorial on how to make these cute little gift boxes from kids artwork. Perfect to keep in mind for Mother’s Day or Father’s Day!

MollyMoo is guest posting over at Kids Activities Blog and has a tutorial on turning a cardboard box into this adorable Puss ‘N Boots. This would be a fun summer project for a rainy day!
