We’re still enjoying the longest heatwave in seven years here in the UK. It’s fantastic to spend so much time feeling the sun on our skin. With this in mind, I am featuring a few summer sensory ideas this week.

I have had lots of fun browsing through the whopping 131 fabulous ideas shared last week with Mom’s Library! To see all of the great ideas submitted, be sure to check out last week’s Mom’s Library where I focused on saving money in the kitchen.
Summer sensory play
Tuts and Tea Parties have a great snow cone sensory play idea for a hot summer’s afternoon:

An Idea on Tuesday has an inviting summer sensory tray, it looks like paradise to me!

Fantastic Fun & Learning also has some beach-themed sensory play.
And if the weather is to hot outdoors, move inside and try these sensory balls from School Time Snippets.

There’s nothing stopping you from having fun when no one is looking! And would it matter if they were? Have a great week!
