It’s always a happy day when we receive a knock at the door and the postman is there with something too large to fit through the mail slot. recently we’ve had such a knock on a fabulous Friday morning! On this particular day we opened up the grey plastic bag to reveal a fun Ravensburger puzzle, Tangled.

Ravensburger kindly sent us Tangled to keep Kallista occupied after the let-down of our town fair ending. What would she do? How would she spend her days after 2 weeks of family-friendly events? I’m not sure about the kids, but I certainly was feeling worn out and needed a little peace and calm at home.
I think Kallista may have still been on fast-mode as she had the Tangled puzzle completed within an hour of opening our package, that could be a new record!
She was keen to get started (and avoid the after-lunch clean-up) and because we’d all been running around like crazy, she deserved a little time to herself. She set up a space in a corner of the front room, removed the plastic from the outside of the box, and cut open the inside bag and went right to work.
The next time I walked into the room, Kallista had half of the puzzle completed and was on a roll. The colours are bright and the look on Rapunzel’s face is pure mischievousness.
And before long, Kallista came bounding into the kitchen, excited to tell me that she had completed her puzzle already! I know time flies, but this was fast! She was quite pleased with her own speed.
Kallista tidied up the puzzle and put the pieces in a zipper-topped plastic bag to keep all of the pieces together should an ‘incident’ occur while opening the box in the future.
New neighbours are just moving in across the road from us and their their granddaughter is going to come visit them. Kallista has decided she is going to take the Tangled puzzle over so their granddaughter can have something fun to do while she visits. What a wonderful welcome to the neighbourhood, and a lovely way to make a new friend.
