What a great week at Mom’s Library last week where I featured party ideas for kids. There were 138 wonderful ideas linked up and I’m sure there will more this week as the holiday season kicks into full gear. Here in the UK winter is on its way, but there’s still a little autumn left yet with the last of the leaves changing colour and fluttering down to the ground. This has inspired me this week to feature awesome autumn tree and plant activities for kids.

Preschool Powel Packets explores some science using pine cones. The trees we found our pine cones under has just been taken down this week. We’ll be on the lookout for another so we can do this.
Fantastic Fun and Learning has made these gorgeous flowers using corn husks!
Crafty Journal has made this adorable little finger puppet turkey. She uses silk leaves but you could also use the real thing if the snow hasn’t hit you yet.
